Inside
NCR Merry
Christmas to all
Calendars and clocks may be
artificial ways to measure just where we are, yet our hearts tell us this
isnt an average Christmas. We have used our own ordinary building blocks
of time to erect a monument to the memory of the unique Galilean who left a
legacy of love and ideal life that has not lost its hold on our imaginations in
2,000 years.
I, for one, am glad to be alive this Christmas, this new year; it
is a rare privilege.
We at NCR wish all our readers, their families and friends,
the joy and grace of the season, and a long, content sojourn in the brand new
millennium stretching ahead.

NCR this week
proudly presents the results of our Jesus 2000 competition. It has been an
exciting art adventure, an instructive religious venture. We offer the Jesus
2000 supplement to our readers as a token of gratitude for your amazing loyalty
to this newspaper.
A great many people, both NCR staff and others
everywhere, together made this happen. I wish to express my endless personal
gratitude to all. |
Merry Christmas!
