DIRECTOR OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION -- Large, dynamic Catholic parish in Pittsburg, California seeks Director of Religious Education. The Director will be responsible for a comprehensive religious education program and ensure the total faith formation of the parish for children, teens and adults and will plan, implement and staff all religious education programs, Sunday Childrens Liturgy of the Word and summer religious education programs as well as provide catechist training and parent sacramental meetings. Duties include the supervision of other Religious Education personnel; managing the Religious Education office, including budgeting and fund raising, recruitment and training of volunteers; planning programs, evaluating curricula and acting as a parish resource person in methods and some areas of theology.
