CHAPLAIN

DIRECTOR

THE CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF RICHMOND, Virginia seeks a Director for the Office for Black Catholics. The Director serves as a catalyst in areas of promoting, evangelization and eradicating racism, and provides information and resources for the Bishop, diocesan staff, and parishes. The Director collaborates with the Commission for Black Catholics, the Office of the Hispanic Apostolate, the Asian Community, diocesan staff and parishioners in order to assess and meet the needs of the community. The selected candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry or a related degree (master’s degree preferred), professional experience in a human service setting, and experience working with ethnic groups and associations. Required skills include strong leadership skills, facilitation and collaboration skills, administration skills, and a good working knowledge of the Church’s doctrinal and social teaching. PASTORAL ASSISTANT
