DIRECTOR OF CAMPUS MINISTRY -- Fontbonne University, is seeking a twelve month full-time Director of Campus Ministry. Fontbonne is a coeducational Catholic institution founded and sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet and located in St. Louis, Missouri. The Director is responsible for supporting the faith development of the University community. The Director facilitates direct ministry, community service and social justice education, liturgical celebrations and services, prayer and faith development activities, and student leadership training and development. The Director also works collaboratively with campus constituencies to foster the University’s Catholic identity, mission, and heritage, and serves as a liaison with other religious groups. Administrative duties include staff supervision, departmental budget oversight, and departmental assessment. The Director of Campus Ministry currently reports to the Vice President for Student Affairs and works closely with the Student Affairs professional staff. Preferred candidates will have a Master’s degree in ministry, a minimum of three to five years’ experience in ministry at the college/university level management responsibilities including staff supervision and budgetary oversight. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, organizational skills, demonstrated leadership ability, and a commitment to collaborative teamwork are essential. Travel is required.
