CAMPUS MINISTER -- The Catholic Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston is looking for a qualified individual for the position of Campus Minister to serve at Fairmont State University located in Fairmont, West Virginia. This person will coordinate and facilitate the schedule of masses and sacramental ministries at the University. In consultation with the Chaplain, students and faculty, the individual will develop and implement catechetical opportunities and pastoral services appropriate to the needs and concerns of the community. Person organizes retreats, faith sharing groups, and formational gatherings. The individual will also manage the day to day operations of the center. DIRECTOR OF CAMPUS MINISTRY -- The Director of the Medical Center Campus Ministry is a full-time position. The position reports directly to the Director of Campus Ministry. The primary responsibility of the position is to provide for the spiritual needs of the Medical Center campus which is made up of approximately 200 graduate students. This includes sacramental ministry, spiritual direction, retreats, and pastoral presence.
