NCR DISPLAY ADVERTISING SPECIFICATIONS:

NCR's layout allows for advertisements prepared for standard magazine breakdowns of a 7"x10" page.
Minimum size: Display ads smaller than 1/12 page will be placed in the NCR Classifieds section.
Production services: Advertising composition/design is available at $6.00 per column inch. Halftones cost $10 each.
Closing dates: Space reservations must be made three weeks prior to issue date. Copy requiring production services must be received three weeks prior to issue date. Camera-ready ads are due two weeks prior to issue date.

NCR CLASSIFIED ADVERTISING:

NCR Classifieds offer a variety of categories to advertise your products, services and employment opportunities.

Classified display (boxed with border) rates: $65 per column inch, camera ready.
Production charge: $6.00 per column inch.

Electronic Files: Prefer PDF files. Macintosh/Quark Express 3.3 or 4.0, Photoshop 5.0 or PageMaker 6.5 - Graphic files scanned at 200 resolution. For camera-ready artwork - use 85 line screen on halftones. For more information regarding electronic files please call advertising at 1-800-444-8910 ext 2217.

Color charges: Spot color in “NCR Blue” = $100; spot color in ANY OTHER PMS color = $200; 4-color process = $600 additional. Color separated mechanicals or artwork required for color ads. No discounts (frequency or agency) applicable on color charges.

Classified Word (text only) rates: 10-word minimum.
Rates per word per issue are as follows:
1-5 times -- $1.00 per word per issue
6-11 times -- 95 cents per word per issue
12-24 times -- 90 cents per word per issue
25-49 times -- 85 cents per word per issue
50+ times -- 80 cents per word per issue

Blind box number is $2.50 per issue.

Closing date: Copy and payment must be received 14 days prior to issue date. You may fax your classified ad by using your MasterCard, VISA or Discover. Fax orders to Advertising Department at (816) 968-2268.

Payment: Classified word ad payment must accompany order and will not be published unless payment is received. Invoice request: $10.00. Classified display ads may be paid in advance or billed.

National Catholic Reporter Publishing Company reserves the right to reject or cancel advertising for any reason deemed appropriate.

CELEBRATION
Celebration is the monthly ecumenical worship resource that reaches 10,000 decision makers at more than half the Catholic parishes in the U.S. and many Protestant churches. This popular liturgical resource includes a magazine section with feature articles, book reviews and opinion columns, plus additional sections featuring homilies, music and ideas for the church environment. Pastors and liturgists have depended on Celebration for more than 25 years to provide them with ideas and insights for Sunday and seasonal worship services.

Inserts: You can insert your preprinted flyer or brochure in NCR and Celebration: An Ecumenical Worship Resource. The insertion rate for each publication is $90 per thousand. A sample of the insert must be approved prior to making a space reservation.
