Q: Why does it take so long for my first issue to start?
A: Sometimes it all depends on our label runs. A label run is done 10 days before the issue date. The issue is mailed 7 days before the issue date. I know it is a little confusing. But if you remember that we are a week ahead of the real world then it won't seem so.

Q: Why do I sometimes receive my NCR after the issue date?
A: NCR is mailed from Kansas City MO on the Saturday before the issue date. NCR is mailed 2nd class and sometimes the post office delivers it after all of the 1st class mail. You can request your subscription be sent 1st class, there is an additional charge for this service.

Q: I am looking for an article from a past issue, and I can't find it on the Web site. What should I do?
A: Because we haven't posted the entire paper in the past, many articles will be missing. We are working on updating our archives. In the meantime, we cannot post specific articles upon request nor e-mail them, since finding and formatting the material takes time. If you know which issue the story ran in, call Tara Harris at (816) 968-2253 for a reprint. If you don't know when it appeared, your nearest university library will usually have complete records in a searchable database.
